Objectives
Develop a fully functional Global Centre for improving MLTC-related health outcomes and research, that is self-sustaining and aligned closely with the Governments of India and Nepal as strategic partners
Methodology
- Community engagement and co-design with stakeholders to ensure patient-centred and culturally relevant interventions.
- Understanding lived experiences through community conversations and interviews to inform intervention design.
- Identification and capacity building of community champions to lead peer-support and research activities.
- Development of patient networks to promote mutual learning, empowerment,and advocacy.
- Implementation and evaluation through pilot testing and a cluster RCT to assess feasibility and effectiveness.
- Dissemination and policy integration to embed the model within national health systems in India and Nepal.
