About HRIDAY
HRIDAY, a not-for-profit research organisation, promotes Health and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by meaningfully engaging youth, communities and people with lived experiences, with a focus on strengthening people-centred health systems and health-promoting policies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting quantitative and qualitative field activities, ensuring that data collection is completed according to the study protocol and project timelines.
- Support baseline data collection and assist in organising community engagement, intervention co-creation activities, and participant recruitment.
- Coordinate with Community Champions, healthcare providers, community members, and local stakeholders to facilitate smooth implementation of the study.
- Transcribe and translate qualitative interviews, assist in data management and analysis, and contribute to the preparation of project reports and documentation.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with community members, government health officials, and project partners to support effective field implementation.
- Participate in project meetings, training sessions, and dissemination activities, and provide regular updates to the research team and supervisors.

Requirements
- Educational qualification – Graduation or post-graduate degree in social science/anthropology/public health or related field.
- Experience – A minimum of 1-3 years’ relevant experience in public health, specifically in NCDs, is desirable.
- Proven experience in conducting fieldwork and stakeholder management.
- Field visits – Flexibility to travel to field sites within rural areas of Jodhpur District.
- Essential -Ability to collect field data (quantitative/qualitative), entry using an Excel sheet and basic analysis.
- Languages – Proficiency in English and Hindi languages, as well as the local dialect (Rajasthani/Marwari).
