Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

HRIDAY, New Delhi is inviting application for the post of Project Research Scientist-I (Medical) on a contractual basis for working on the National Health Research Priority (NHRP) – Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) project- ANANT MUSKAAN: A multi-site Implementation Research on Primary School based Tooth Brushing and Oral Health Education in India for the New Delhi site.

Essential Qualification Master’s degree in public health (MPH) or social science or any equivalent degree from a recognized university with 2 years of experience.
Desirable Experience
  • Knowledge of qualitative research and experience in conducting Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), InDepth Interviews (IDIs), Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), etc.
  • Knowledge of quantitative research and experience in conducting KAP surveys.
  • Experience is qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
  • Experience in conducting population studies, planning, and executing community studies, and intervention studies in the field of Public Health.
  • Excellent writing and verbal skills for communication.
  • Fluency or working level in English.
Age Upper age limits up to 35 years
Consolidated Remuneration INR 56000+ HRA as admissible.

Tenure for 9 months, extendable up to 3 years based on performance.

Job Description
  • Under the guidance of PI, Co-PIs and Co-I, the Project Research scientist (non-medical) will be responsible for:
  • Qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.
  • Co-ordination for conducting meetings, workshops and consultations.
  • Co-ordination with Education and Health Department, as well as school authorities regarding the project.
  • Monitoring visits to schools.
  • Assist the study investigators to develop analysis plan, monitoring and evaluation protocols.
  •  Assist the investigators in report and manuscript writing.
  • Data collection, analysis and draft manuscripts for publication.
