HRIDAY, New Delhi is inviting applications for the post of Medical Officer on a contractual basis for working on the SBI Cancer Care project for early detection and referral-based treatment of breast, cervical, and oral cancers in Kozhikode and Wayanad districts of Kerala.

Essential Qualification MBBS degree from a recognized institution with valid registration from the Medical Council/NMC.
Preferred: MBBS + MD/PhD
Desirable Experience
  • Experience in cancer screening, community health, and non-communicable disease programmes.
  • Experience in conducting clinical examinations and patient counselling.
  • Knowledge of cancer prevention and early detection programmes.
  • Familiarity with community outreach activities and referral coordination.
  • Knowledge of Malayalam preferred.
Age Preferably below 40 years
Consolidated Remuneration ₹85,000/- per month (consolidated)
Job Description
  • Lead medical screening activities for breast, cervical, and oral cancers through the Mobile Screening Unit.
  • Provide clinical assessment, counselling, and referral support for high-risk individuals
  • Coordinate with referral centres and healthcare facilities for diagnosis and treatment.
  • Support training and mentoring of healthcare workers and project staff.
  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and compliance with project protocols
  • Participate in awareness and community outreach activities under the project.
