Medical Officer

HRIDAY, New Delhi is inviting applications for the post of Medical Officer on a contractual basis for working on the SBI Cancer Care project for early detection and referral-based treatment of breast, cervical, and oral cancers in Kozhikode and Wayanad districts of Kerala.

Essential Qualification	MBBS degree from a recognized institution with valid registration from the Medical Council/NMC. Preferred: MBBS + MD/PhD
Desirable Experience	Experience in cancer screening, community health, and non-communicable disease programmes. Experience in conducting clinical examinations and patient counselling. Knowledge of cancer prevention and early detection programmes. Familiarity with community outreach activities and referral coordination. Knowledge of Malayalam preferred.
Age	Preferably below 40 years
Consolidated Remuneration	₹85,000/- per month (consolidated)
Job Description	Lead medical screening activities for breast, cervical, and oral cancers through the Mobile Screening Unit. Provide clinical assessment, counselling, and referral support for high-risk individuals Coordinate with referral centres and healthcare facilities for diagnosis and treatment. Support training and mentoring of healthcare workers and project staff. Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and compliance with project protocols Participate in awareness and community outreach activities under the project.
